Our 1/8 black diamond plate are pressed aluminum sheets bearing a raised diamond pattern on one side. They are weather and corrosion-proof and easy to clean, as well as being skid-resistant. Excellent product, easy to work with. Fast shipping. I installed it on a 4x8 trailer over the 3/4 plywood. It was easy to drill through.

Looks like the 1/8 black diamond plate is of good quality, but I order the matte black and the color is almost brownish or burgundy in color. I don’t even know if putting it over something that is already painted black will look good? I’m sure that the other colors will be fine.

Great product easy to install with a little help from a friend. 1/8 black diamond plate easy to cut with metal cutting hand shears. If you get the narrow trim pieces remove the plastic wrap before install. I installed plate with screws and trim with finish air nail gun. Experimented with glue but if you get it on 1/8 black diamond plate you can’t remove without damaging paint. Garage looks super!
