An aluminium checker plate grade is a silver-colored, low density metal that finds use in a large variety of commercial applications. Aluminum tread plates have a raised checkered pattern which provides slip resistance. Due to aluminum’s moderate strength and corrosion resistance, it is installed in industries such as aerospace, transportation and food processing facilities.
